They tell me the future lies in moving images…

These are all from June 15th when we were watching the Turkey/Czech Euro 2008 match. I won’t be doing too many of these video posts. While we do record a lot of video, it’s really time consuming to edit the video to a size and length that I can upload to Flickr so that I can post it on the site (for example, I had to split this video into 3 parts because Flickr has a 90 second limit for video and do some editing on a couple parts to fix the camera rotation).

A month of many milestones…

• from this day forward, Jakob will be outside the womb longer than he was inside
• his 8th doubling day was on June 6th (which I didn’t remember until today)
• in honor of the doubling day, he began crawling
• once crawling, he quickly figured out how to climb the 2 stairs out of the sunken living room (I think it took him all of 3 days) - crawling back down isn’t happening yet but he is giving his skull a testing
• he’s also standing while holding onto whatever will let him stand (the chest in front of our couch, low chairs, people’s legs)
• he’ll eat just about anything given to him (so far, the favorites are pickles and watermelon)
• still no sign of his top teeth, but given the increased screaming of late, I’m guessing they’ll be in any day now
• his 2nd trip to Harriman State Park
• our 1st Fathers’ Day
